A bevy of Trax’ters hit fieldwork home runs lately. In NAVHDA Natural Ability tests the pupsters Mercer and Nyx notched impressive scores of 110/112 and the pupsters Fraser and Piper maximum 112 scores, with 3 of those 4 kiddos handled by NAVHDA newbie handlers. But it was Luther that really knocked it out of the park this month. All along, Luther has made his presence known in field competition. While still puppy aged, he won WCA Western Open Derby and Field Futurity stakes with broke birdwork on all finds, then won his first all breed broke stake while still a yearling, and lately put on an impressive show to win 3 and a 5 point major Open Gun Dog stakes in all breed horseback competition to complete the requirements for his AKC Field Championship title. Thanks to pro trainer Todd Yamamoto for training and handling this superstar.
