The Trax crew had a good showing at the WCA Western Regional Field trial, Reign led the charge with a wide ranging run and a bunch of bird finds to win the Open All Age stake and, keeping it all in the family, her kid Bullet hit the edges and pointed his way to a win of the Field Futurity stake. Prior to the Western Nyx had never entered a field trial but she didn’t let that lack of experience hinder her from putting on a simply stellar performance to win the Open Derby stake. Avy, who arrived at the grounds with her litter of 7 week old puppies in tow, seamlessly switched gears from stay at home mom to career gal with a win of the 3 point major Amateur Gun Dog stake and Vaughn showed great application, range and athleticism in his win of the Open Puppy stake.
